Airedales Winnie and Teddy

Meet Airedales Winnie and Teddy. They joined Forever Photos for a photo session at Veale Gardens in Adelaide CBD. It was a cold and rainy day but that didn’t bother Winnie and Teddy. They enjoyed some fun times running around, playing and having a good sniff. A few birds were about and this certainly captured their attention.

Winnie is a 10 year old girl who enjoys the company of her 3 year old fur brother Teddy. She is the definite leader of the pack, with Teddy keen to stick close by her at all times. Winnie isn’t fond of thunderstorm or water, making Veale Gardens the perfect location for the photoshoot. Winnie loves prams and babies, keen to stick her head in and investigate. She is an aloof dog, happy to be with you, but enjoying her own space.

Teddy loves a cuddle through his owners legs where he feels safe and secure. He follows Winnie wherever she leads and is described by his fur parents as a true Teddybear. 

Together Winnie and Teddy make an adorable pair. Although Winnie is a bit older than Teddy, she is still very keen for play. As there fur parents explained, 4:30 pm in their house is zoomies time for Winnie and Teddy!

Although they are not directly related, Winnie and Teddy are from the same breeder, Yeloman Airedale Terriers in Victoria.

A bit about Airedales

They are the largest of the Terrier breeds. They have a dense coat, soft underneath with a wiry topcoat and are hypoallergenic – great for those with allergies. Airedales are very energetic and like a lot of terriers they can be quite fearless. They enjoy an active lifestyle and with care and training can make a good working dog. Airedales are very intelligent, independent, strong minded and can be stubborn, making training an essential part of their life, particularly when they are young.  They are considered to be a great family pet, generally tolerant of children.
